Anyone recognise this car?
Discussion
Hi there, planning on taking a closer look at this RS Limited in Chichester in the next day or two:

Have been looking for a while and it fits what I'm looking for quite nicely, just wondered if anyone recognised it at all or used to own it? Should I be concerned about anything on it, it looks pretty well prepared?
Many thanks in advance,
Tim

Looks to be a bit over priced, bearing in mind that it no longer has the much sought after Carbon Fibre Recaro's and the original 15" BBS wheels which are again much sought after as they are lighter than the BBS wheels fitted to BMW's and VW's. It this have the excellent ARC induction setup though
Is it really worth £2300 and is it really an RS? It doesn't have the BBS wheels or Recaro seats it should have and I can't see an RS sticker on the wing... It does have an ARC induction kit though which is worth a few hundred £...

Thanks very much guys - I guess most of the other things that make this an RS Ltd are under the skin like the lighter flywheel, lsd etc etc, making it a bit harder to tell if it really is or not? That said, I should be able to check a VIN or chassis/engine number to prove it is or isn't should I? Would you happen to know what digits I should be looking for?!... Cheers, T.
But without the special bit's that make it an RS it's just a Eunos. Most JDM 1.8 had the Torsen LSD so the lightened flywheel is pretty much the only special thing it has left! Don't look at it as an RS, look at it as a Eunos with a factory lightened flywheel.
A bit sad really - it's a waste of what was a special car.

Yep, was beginning to think that too, perhaps will save myself a journey after all. The search goes on. Just looking for a 1.8 Mk1 that's a little bit different for up to about £2500-£3000 within about 40 miles of Haslemere in Surrey. Can't be that hard surely?!....
Cheers for all the comments though, a big help.

You say that, I'm from that area and had to travel to Bristol for mine! It wasn't the closest but it was the best for the money at the time (that I could reasonably find!). You should get a v nice one for your budget, good luck!Cheers for all the comments though, a big help.
