Possibly, but I'm at a loss as to what else could be wrong with the cooling system tbh. Its being pressurized for some reason, and everythings been changed on it!

Thats really sad news, i've recently joined the MX5 owners fold and I know how attached you become to these cars.

I hope you get a fair price and the car goes to someone who keeps it on the road- have yoo spoken to the guys at Autolink as they may have some ideas as to whats causing the pressurisation?

Would you be able to post (or PM- if thats possible and preferred?) who quoted you £280 for a mohair with glass? I'm hoping to get mine done fairly soon and that price is about £100 cheaper than the cheapest i've had quoted.

£454 already, 8 days to go, 80+ watchers and 800+ page views. I'm sure I'll get a fair price.

In reality I could have made in the region of £1500 by breaking it, but I haven't got the heart or patience. It'll make a good car for someone.

I'll have another one day I'm, sure!!!

I am genuinely gutted, but I just don't have the time and money to get it how I want it, so its got to go.
