Currently - standard Mk.1 S-Spec with original fit yellow Bilstein suspension (ca 70k miles on it) with 15" wheels.
It's always been crashy as hell (I think most consider it too harsh for UK roads), but it really is starting to grate (turning into an old fart I think...).
I liked the suspension on my dad's old UK Mk.2, very compliant, although it rode a bit high. Like the stance of mine.
Question - what should I do to introduce a bit more compliance and comfort into the ride of mine?
I'm on a real budget here, so hoping something like s/h Mk.2 springs/dampers might be an option from somebody upgrading. I'd like to avoid the "on stilts" look if possible.
Suggestions?
