I looked at the pictures before I looked at the title and I didn't once think oh that looks like an Aston Martin from the front. It just ruins the whole look of the car.

I doesn't look too bad and using a vinyl plate stuck flush to the bumper would improve it no end IMHO.

Last year I took my Quntum 2+2 Turbo to Goodwood breakfast club and there were hundreds of MX5's there one of which had been done up to look like an Elan, yuk there was a real Elan near it and the MX looked as though it had eaten all the pies!
Just for once I think the Japs got a car spot on, like the original 240Z you cannot improve a MK 1 its perfect.

The Elan is simply the best looking car ever, however I would want to be in one in a crash.

I look at my MX5 and think it is so balanced and especially good with a hard top.

Looks like it's got a hare lip! That said, the full AM kit for the MX5, while still monstrous, looks better than this.
