I love my MX5! (new owner, can you tell?)

Some of you may have seen my previous thread asking about engines for MX5's after acquiring a free MK2 with a lunched engine. Finally sourced one with a proven 42k miles on it (only cost £350, p/x'ing my old engine) Changed all the belts, an alternator and gave it new fluids and filters. Did some bodywork on it and re-furbed the wheels. And had my first drive yesterday. Spent all day in it. And used £40's worth of fuel in 8 hours which might not be a lot to some of you, but in my punto that will last me a week! It's just such an encouraging little car, so revvy, it loves it the harder you drive it. Will get some pictures up shortly. The car now owes me just under £1k, and the only niggle that has come up is a sticking rear caliper. Oh, and it could do with a clean!!

And you probably had more fun that most people would have in a car that would use £40 of fuel in 8 minutes!
