Currently running a pair of black VX220 seats, but have been offered a pair in black / tan and I'm wondering if these look better with my existing tan interior.

They have had a repair to the bolster but I can get them for a VERY good price.

What do you think I should do?

Munter: I had to delete your reply on the original thread as I have started a new one to add a poll! biggrin

They look really good and if they are a good price then there is nothing to lose. You can probably sell the black ones for the same price or more wink

A vote for black and tan here.

1. Because they look great alongside the other tan in the car

2. Because I would love the all black ones off you!

If you would be interested in selling I am pretty local to you and wouldnt mind a price? wink

Toughie. If they matched perfectly I'd say go for it, but as the seat is lighter than the rest of your trim I have to say I'm oot as that would annoy me. Stay with black.

The pics exaggerate it, but there is no denying they don't match. My gut is to stick with the black ones.

If anyone is interested in the black and tan, PM me and I can put you in touch with the seller.

I voted for black and tan, but have to agree that as the tan doesn't quite match the rest of the interior, I wouldn't be able to live with them....but that's just a personal feeling.

As the tan doesn't quite match the rest of the interior, I'd stick with the black. Shame as apart from that I like the black and tan idea, reminds me a bit of the interior on my 206, except that's red and black.

Don't worry about Dibs, chap.. If you can sell them before, feel free.. I'm not all that fussed on new seats at the moment, but thanks! smile

I think the black/tan could look excellent if the tan was darker, might be worth speaking to a interior trimmer to see if they could dye the tan slightly darker..

I did think that some may interpret it that way, but no that's not what I meant!

The tan on the replacements don't colour-match the current tan interior. Stick with what you have.
