Interesting reading......as a moderator of a private US Subaru site and frequenter of several others (and if it helps a former owner of a race prepped 79' Midget) I wonder what is appropriate to post here for acceptance. Currently on a 400whp 2011 STi Sedan with a history of many interesting cars (and in my 40's so I'm not a typical UK yob.)

If this isn't the appropriate introductory forum, please let me know.

I post on NASOIC sometimes as I love what you guys do to the cars, quite different from what we see in the UK.

Lol.....great welcome guys. I'm on NASIOC but not a mod there....I'm a mod on a sort of invitation only small site that was put together by a bunch of rejects from the various Subie sites a few years ago. I get 20+mpg, pay....er.......$2400 USD for insurance per year (what is that in UK terms.....40 quid a week?) and have actually driven in London (shudder, never again. Your busses terrify yanks). I do not follow NASCAR but do like WRC, Le Mans, ALMS and am aware that The Ring is in Germany rather than Middle Earth (but why do hobbits sound like they are from Lancastershire?)

Thanks! I will have to go find photos of the older ones. I did own several of them at the same time but am down to just the STi now......parking being at a premium and 2 and a half grand a year insurance and such. Although I have been sniffing out a Supercharged GM LS2 powered Volvo 760 Estate of late.

I tip 25% everywhere that isn't France. Also, several of my friends are from Liverpool so I've learned to spell like an Albanian.
