My wife spotted this in sainsburies,

Looks to be a 4 door, but also no b pillar…

Can’t place what it is! Any thoughts?

Someone’s going to come along and say it’s not even American

Yeah early to mid 1970s Chevelle going on the rear tail lights and the fact it’s a 4 door - not a lot of 4 door muscle around from that period.

I think it’s an early 70s Plymouth Satellite though.

The mainstream European makers, perhaps not so much the French and Italians, really aped US styling trends didn't they.

Looks Hillman Avenger like to me. I suppose the facelifted ones with the horizontal rear lights with the brushed effect metal trim between them that came after the hockey stick shaped rear lenses would look more like that.
