I agree with this though sadly these two are from a current advert for it. A combination of age and health really though I'm certainly not desperate to sell it, just that I seldom get chance to use the thing nowadays. It still makes me smile on the odd occasion when I do get out in it though. 
I'll play - here's my 66 Impala. RHD, Aussie import to Scotland. Has a fresh 383, powerglide and a 12-bolt with posi.
I lived in this house my first time in Edinburgh - I never thought I'd be parking a Chev in front of it 30 years later.
Here's the old engine - the new one is similar looking but with aluminium heads.

I had them on my 1969 Mustang Mach 1, but have forgotten how good they sound.

My super duper 3’ stainless Pypes exhaust system arrived today, looks goods , but was disappointed to see it’s made in bloody China, I had them on my 1969 Mustang Mach 1, but have forgotten how good they sound.
I remember when I unboxed my American Racing Equipment Wheels and feeling slightly deflated!
Yep made in The Peoples Republic Of China ffs !

Most auto stuff is now no longer 'Made in USA'.....
There simply is no longer the industry left to make stuff.....at least not in small batch quantities that the classic industry would support.
LA and southern California used to be the hot bed of hot rodding and aftermarket industry but that's all pretty much gone now. Nasty environmentally dirty industry such as the car industry and aviation industry that was huge there for well over half a century, has all but disappeared.
The last foundry left in the LA area that was casting alloy wheels closed down about 12-18 months ago, when the owner of 30+ years retired, and could not find a buyer to buy it take it over, and it closed down.
