Sinn 144 GMT Aviation Chronometer
Discussion
I've been meaning to post up some pictures of my Sinn 144 GMT for a bit as you don't see too many of them around. It was bought some 7 years ago from Neil at Chronomaster and since it's my work watch, I wear it every day. The bracelet is a little scratched but the watch itself is perfect. It does need a service though as it's currently gaining about 25 seconds per day!

This watch does mean a lot to me, not only due to it's aviation heritage (the reason I bought it - I didn't want a Breitling, that's another story!) but because I have worn it and used it whilst flying in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Falklands and all over the world. I'll never sell it and as long as I'm flying I'll wear it. It's a shame the movement never really gets seen!

Anyway hope you like it

The 144 is a great looking watch. I used to have the "Lufthansa Cargo" version. The tach scale is supposed to tell you the optimal cruising height of a Boeing 747 for the gross weight of the aircraft. Useful stuff I think you'll agree
I really like the Lufthansa one.
Geek note, but the speed scale is to provide the correct transition altitude from Mach 0.84 (cruise speed, which seems a bit high to me) onto indicated knots when descending.

Lovely watch OP and cracking pic in the Herc!
