Picked up my serviced Monaco yesterday, and was wearing my Christopher Ward C7 Rapide. Took the CW off and put in pocket, putting the Monaco back where it belongs. However, the CW was rattling around in my pocket, so took it off and put it on the other wrist. Wore 2 watches most of yesterday, all last night at home (including in bed) and all today so far. In an office full of people who 'like' watches (or claim too)

Not one person seems to have noticed. Not one.

Makes you wonder if all the money is worth it for a flash watch if nobody notices.

It's not for other people to notice surely?

Depends if your reason for having a particular watch is for your own enjoyment or to get it noticed by others I suppose.

I guess it depends if you're sheepishly following watch trends in a vain attempt to impress your co-workers, or buying watches for the joy they give to you and you alone (others may have an opinion, but frankly you couldn't give a s**t.)

You did ask.

It wasn't the watches, it was the fact I was wearing 2.

OK, I could have worded it better, but the point was, nobody noticed I was wearing 2 watches.

I am tempted to wear all my watches next week and see if anyone notices that (I have 6)

In the context of how I regard watches, this misses the point by a country mile.

I'm not naive, I know certain people will buy expensive watches with the intent of being noticed with said watch, and that's fair enough I suppose but it ain't my bag.

There's a guy here, has a very bling watch. Looks like a Rolex Sub - mit cyclops.

I don't quite dare ask if it's a real one or a LOLex... hehe

On Wed/Thurs I was at an exhibition for work.
At least ten prospects commented on the watch I was wearing.
Really surprised me.
