just need a bit of help on this diy project i've decided to do.

i've brought an armani ceramica watch, and i need to shorten the wrist strap as per usual, but there are arrows at each end of each link, now which end do i push, to me it seems it dosent matter as looking at each end the 'screws' are both the same thinkness?
also any house hold items you can think of to help push the 'screws' out would be helpful, i've tried a needle aswell as a few other things which are useless.........

just to add i would usually take my watches to the local shop, but time is an issue for now and i desperatly want to wear it biggrin

Ok I am a little confused by your post, Perhaps on your watch it does not matter which way if arrows point both ways. Maybe a different kind of fitting I have not seen

You talk of pushing screws out. screws screw smile split pins need to be pushed out.

Now if its split pins that need puching out one end may have a little slit that resembles a screw head.

in the below pic the split pin needs pushing out right to left. you can see as the wide head joins on thr left that is what sometimes liiks like a slit. I suppose you could do it with a needle and somthing to use as a small hammer.

there are screws, pins and other things like seiko use in thir bracelets
