Just thought i'd share a few (crappy iphone) pictures of my new watch.

It is a lovely, simple design and very well finished.
Picked up from Jura Watches for £328.50. Took a week to arrive. Will upload some proper pictures, but for now some taken with my iphone:

That's really nice. I like that retro-but-not-really styling.

Looks like great value for money. Is the strap as good as it seems?

The strap is pretty good as it goes.

Not too thick that you have to wrestle it to take shape, and not too thin to be totally flimsy.

finish and feel of the strap are first class.

Retro 'Tissot' logo etched in on the clasp too, which is a nice touch:

I really like that. The Visodate has been tempting be for a good few months now; lot's of watch for that amount of cash.

Enjoy!

I've admired these for a while, they look fantastic.
What size is it?
Seems a pretty good price for a new Swiss Made with an ETA 2824. thumbup

It is 40mm in size.

Been wearing it since yesterday, and I'm really liking it.

Really happy with the purchase.

Will post up some proper pictures over the weeekend.

Jura were fantastic to use.

Ordered online, wasn't in stock and was informed the watch had a lead time of about a week.

Collect in store option was chosen for delivery (mate works nearby and collected it for me). Once watch arrived in store, email was sent saying so, and my friend went to collect.

They also threw in a free watch repair toolkit, which is pretty good value IMO.

Would definitely use Jura again. Top service, and quick turnaround within stated time.

Thats a good size, I wondered if it might be retro sized (say 36mm) as well as retro looks.

I like it! clap

Purchased one of these very watches in the departure lounge at Manchester airport yesterday. Those early check ins are no good for the wallet. Most pleased with it.

Bought one £265 on-line from Watch Monster a couple of months ago when I sent my Planet Ocean off for big service (10 weeks away)...

Now that the PO is back, looking as good as new, it is having to share / split wrist-time with the Visodate as I am so chuffed with it...

Just goes to show you dobn't need to chuck wadges of cash to have a nice watch!

Thanks all for the positive comments and good to hear from those that already have one too.

As I posted earlier, here are some slightly better pics that were taken with my SLR (I'm no pro though, so they are'nt exactly 100%). Anyway, here you go:

OK, I give in. Now need one of these.

Can anyone recommend a good trusted supplier with a competitive price?

Probably have to be mail order as not too many shops I can visit on the Lancs coast.

Thanks.

Done a bit of rummaging around, and this is the best price I can find the same watch for:

http://www.sharps-jewellers.co.uk/tissot-visodate/...

It is up for £292.00.

They are official Tissot stockists (listed on the Tissot website as such) and are based in Darlington.

Probably best to give them a call and see how long they will take to source the watch and deliver it to you...

Deffo worth every penny IMO.
