Have been thinking about getting a JLC for a while and now have the opportunity to get a chronograph at a reasonable price. It is new, but old stock. Would you guys hold out for a chronograph 2, or take the opportunity of getting the older watch at a reduced price?

Thanks

Surely that simply depends on which you prefer the appearance of? Are there any features of the new model you feel are worth paying more for?

I bought the Chronograph a couple of years ago, and am very happy with it, although it's a very occasional wear, and I spec'd it with a black rather than dark brown strap. Looking at the "2", I like the red hands and the more detailed sub-dials, but don't like the new position of the date window. What's the difference in price?

BTW, Dominic H on here sourced mine at a very good price. I would talk to him when I'm next in the market for something.
