Help with colour strap combo
Discussion
Hello Chaps,
Wonder if you might help me with choosing the specific colour strap combo for my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean large size watch purchase.
I was going to go with 2900.50.91 Which is black face, black surround and white numbers big rubber strap...I worry this will be just a bit too dull.
I have added into the mix 2908.50.82 and 2900.51.82 These both have the alternative smarter rubber strap black or orange surround with orange numbers.
I attach the link purely for quick reference.
I will be using the watch every day and swimming with it etc so if there are any wear and tear factors I should be aware of I would appreciate the info.
Pls help am ordering today..I know its subjective and I know I should decide for myself but am hoping that my choice will made more concrete.
Many Thanks, Bruce

The rule of thumb is 'buy on the bracelet', ie get the model you want (either plain or orange bezel) with the steel bracelet as the difference in price for a watch is usually only slightly more for the bracelet version than the rubber/leather strap version.
You can always source a rubber or leather strap at a later date for a change of look. Buying the bracelet separately at a later date would prove hugely expensive if you ever decided to do it. You can also buy aftermarket straps in the same style as the OEM ones for a lot less cash.
These places will sell you Omega parts should you need them:
