I have been obsessing over a Seiko STP005 (on the left) after seeing it in another thread on this forum:

It's a special edition Seiko made for the release of a Final Fantasy film, only 200 released. So it'll be nearly impossible to get a hold of!

Does anyone here have anything similar they like the look of?

The two that leap to mind are from films.

Men In Black, Hamilton Ventura (I really like this):

Equilibrium, Android Alien (I don't really like this):

Quite like the look of Venturas myself, they do have an element of sci-fi about them (particularly the model shown) though they first came out yonks back as the first ever electrically powered watch.

OP, it was me who posted that picture a while back.

As you have probably found out, only the one on the left was produced. By now if you find one it's a given that some of the cells on the display will have died.

They do come up for sale on Watchuseek sometimes, have a search on there.

I had a Seiko Frequency, and the missus had a Seiko Airpro too years ago.

Google the Airpro, I think you'll like it, and I think they are still out there.

I have two Airpro's. Posted a picture here ages ago and got nothing but ridicule from the badge snobs. I love them and always looking for a third (one of mine is the super rare blind version that speaks the time... In Japanese )

I also have a Hamilton X-01 which is pretty futuristic looking (well maybe for the year 2001 wink )
