No offence but my immediate thought was "I wonder if one could remove the gold bits and change the face for next to zero cost if I sold on the diamonds"

Unless you own a gentlemans club, see above.

£6-7k ?
Beautiful watch, ignore the phillistines.
Sadly some peoples aspirations reach no higher than a tool watch .

Have a look at http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/ and get a feel for the prices there. Blowers tends to be a good barometer for the market from what I've heard.

Mind you, if you've got that kind of wedge to blow, perhaps think twice before using the link. You'll have spent it thrice over in 10 minutes flat.

Certainly won't hurt. Mine was £11,550 last year, bi metal, diamond dots, black MOP face. Quite stunning pieces and in a wearable size.
Enjoy it.

The WG/Bi Metal/etc are a far rarer sight than the "fake rare" stainless versions which I just see everywhere.
Nice purchase.
