I have read reviews about the metal spring bars wearing away the plastic lugs - I guess this comes from wearing it too much.

I personally don't see the appeal. If you want a watch that never matches anything you wear, why not a g-shock?

The epitome of "fashion watches" IMO.

Yeah, the Toy brand is higher quality. I am not sure how much it is fashion vs the notion of rebelling against over-priced flash watches... I think the point of the brand was this rebellion idea hence they have the style of a Sub but are obviously made of plastic and look cheap. I guess it's like the horological equivalent of the 1960s Mini.

I've been told I over-analyse everything so feel free to tell me to shut the fk up.

Wife has a toy watch and the clasp broke after about 14 months, the shop were great supplied and fitted a new bracelet with no charge and were really helpful. Some of the premium watch AD's should take note!

You could get one of those Argos versions for under £10 before spending about £50 only to find you can't stand the "fakeness" of it.

i bought a LTD watch which is meant to be in the same line as these two brands. i bought it from asos. a pretty respected fashion cloths shop but when the watch arrived the quality was so bad, the glass had a massive scratch. i returned it. if your looking for these type of watches i would suggest nixon. i managed to get a nixon rubber player for £70, not bad for a watch with a real diamond biggrin

Admit it. You have one in each of the colours of the rainbow. No, wait, you have one watch with all the colours of the rainbow. I have witnesses.
