Only just noticed, the rado if just started using (was my grandpas from the 70's or 80's ) the date is in french and english. It think it changes half way through the day, or maybe you can set it to one or the other?

Is this normal for rado models?

When it changes, what time is it?

Day, surely?

Shouldn't change, should stay on the language you select.

I had the same on a Rado Purple Horse.

Even my cheapo Seiko 5 has English and French days. Use the crown to select whichever you prefer.

Wouldn't it be abbreviated days with a date, like a Seiko 5? wobble

My Marvin has a dual date in German and English. I guess it depends where in Switzerland they are based.

If you set on language it ticks over at midnight to the next day in the same language so effectively two clicks on the dial.

Are you sure you haven't just set 12:00 to noon rather than midnight?

Presumably, this isn't for me, as I know exactly what you meant by your previous post and am going on the silliness of it being the date...

Bit off-topic but it isn't French.

Now, what time does it change to French then English?

Isn't that the Sultan of Brunei's symbol?

I'd love this, so I always know if the date isn't going to change halfway through the day hehe

Or are these two completely independent? (eg can the date number change halfway through the day, but the day just change to french?)

Ah, good point! Surely such a day wheel would fit nicely into a U-BOAT though? wink Also days 17-29 are going to be a bd to work out! hehe

I've asked twice but I don't think he knows.
