Would one of you who is a member on TZ please make contact with Llanhmod on there, he is selling the following watch which I would like to buy.

http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t...

I know it is a homage watch which will upset some on here so I apologise in advance for that.

Thanks for your help.

I have one - the quality isn't as good as the real thing (obviously) and there are a few differences on the face, hands and back. I'd say it was a fake if it had Omega written on it. nuts

I bought mine to use where I wouldn't wear my real one (2254.50). I didn't like the skeleton hands design at first but they are growing on me.

Thankyou RemainAllHoof.

Dont have the money for the real thing at the moment, its one of the contenders for a big birthday in a couple of years time.

Appreciate the quality wont be the same but just really like the design.

Thanks Again
Kev

You can afford a Sagaris but not a £800 used watch?

PS You have email.

Darren
Can see what that looks like but over the past few years I have been lucky enough to spend £30K on changing the TVRs and a few more on a small watch and sunglasses collection, and cost myself a few grand on poor everyday car choices. As the boss lady is the one who earns the most I have to play the game at times and curb the spending and allow her to buy a few bits.
Gives me the chance to investigate the future purchases while the kitty purse is shut though and I can always buy the little bits as and when.

By the way no email received.

Once again somebody starts a TZ-UK thread because they cannot be bothered to find this thread and it had only dropped to page four because somebody does not consider it necessary to make it a 'STICKY'

Actually they could be bothered but for some reason having registered twice now for TZ it still doesnt recognise my email or whatever and wont let me post.
As it happens thanks to the way modern communications go wrong, even though RemainAllHoof was very helpful (thanks again)his emails to me went adrift and so I missed out on the watch.
But please feel free to decide on my laziness or otherwise even though you dont know me from adam.

Watchuseek is a hotbed of Alpha watch flipping. Ignore them if they state US sales only, as soon as they smell the moolah they'll be rushing to the postbox.

Having said that, with US mail you'll be waiting a good two weeks.

I live in Norway, to be fair.

Officially anything over £25 is subject to VAT here, but in reality anything sent by a national post service gets overlooked, FedEx, UPS and the like is a guaranteed sting.

I thought it was the same in Blighty ? EMS from China is a definate 'slip through the net' result every time.

Just thought I would let you know that at the 3rd attempt the technology gremlins have allowed me to join TZ and to post so I wont have to waste your time any more.

Perhaps at some stage I will be able to help a fellow Pistonheader when they have the same problem as I did or maybe I will just have a go about how lazy they are but then I am sure I can leave that to you cant I.

Thank you for your helpful post in response to my request, luckily others on here seem to share my view that this is a forum where we try to help each other if at all possible.

End of rant.

My post wasn't really meant as a dig at you, more the peeps at PH who refuse to make the TZ post about 'How do I join' etc a 'sticky'.
What happens is somebody sees a watch on TZ they would like to buy or help with joining and then start a new thread on here asking for help.
If the thread I quoted was made a 'sticky' then the request for help could be added to the existing thread.
As I said, not a dig at you, sorry if I pissed you off.

but the search on PH does work quite well but nobody seems to use it
