Thinking of getting a Breil Milano, they look good but are they ?

With Italian design flair, they certainly look good. However, I tried on a Breil and it didn't have the same quality feel that you can get for the same money (e.g. Seiko or an entry level watch from a Swiss prestige brand).

I wouldn't buy before you try. If you try on a Breil in a shop and like the feel, then go for it!

I have one. Bought for me by the missus at the time. Needs a new battery though. Always had a good reaction from people and feels nice enough on the wrist. Screw down crown, gold (colour) not worn off etc.

Looks like this one

I bought one of these when I was in Oz 2 years ago as I got it for pretty much 25% of RRP.

Nice, different design and gets a few comments whenever it is worn.

I don't think it is correct. Happy to be proved wrong though.

The text in the link says

"Breil Milano Watches and Jewels are distributed through Binda UK Limited, a joint venture company between Seiko UK Limited and Binda Italia."

So there is a distribution JV, which I knew.

It also says

"Today the new Breil Milano collection has been created to suit the most discerning buyer. Italian-styled watches that combine cutting edge styling with Swiss precision and craftsmanship."

Which doesn't suggest Seiko manufacture, or movements to me.

Apologies for posting the link alone, I'm sure I wrote some stuff too. Anyway, I was backing up your point, not attempting to prove you wrong smile

And FWIW no, Seiko aren't in the habit of making or supplying swiss movements hehe Seiko do mange their repair etc, but then that says little as IIRC they also do Disney watches.
