A JLC Master Compressor Diving Chronograph would be my choice ... You can find a few second hand examples for between £5-6K smile

What about a girard perragaux seahawk 2? Look nice and sport and can go to 1000m or 3000m depending on which one you get

You should be able to pick up a Deap Sea for just over £5k.

Bit of a monster.

Would you consider spending less money and maybe buying more than one watch?
There are some really well built and unusual timepieces out there that don't cost the earth.
for example.
Kemmner Octopus, Helson Sharkdiver, Magrette Moana Pacific and you'd have change to buy a nice classic Sub or SM300.

I have a Magrette Moana Pacific which is still available but I have the Kemmner 007LE and Helson Skin Diver which are not manufatured any more and a little harder to come by on the used market. They're all quality time pieces that hold their own with the more expensive options.

Seawolf Avenger Chrono...

3300ft, chronograph is magnetic and works at any depth etc, has a nitrogen valve blah blah blah... depends whether your actually going to use it for diving or not I guess. You can get it with a rubber strap rrather than the brush metal one.
