Morning, I've found a Jorg Gray watch on eBay that I liked the look of and fortunately managed to win it for a very good price.

What's the general opinion of these watches? Any good, or overpriced ste?

Here is a pic of the watch in question:

Isn't a Jorg Gray the President's choice?

Apparently, although doesn't make it a good choice hehe

I tried a few on when I was in the states and they didn't do much for me. Felt quite cheap to be honest.

I think it is a fairly cheap brand, but has gained popularity after Obama was seen wearing one. I think there must be some rule that the president avoids wearing super-expensive accessories during their term. Clinton always wore a cheap watch while president but has since been seen wearing some expensive brands. Heads of state are often given watches on overseas trips by other heads of state. The Swiss government, for example, has been known to give JLC Atmos clocks as gifts to visiting dignitaries.

I don't think this rule applies to Prince of Darkness Meddlesome who was spotted wearing a £14000 Patek while preaching socialist dogma to the country, prior to being elevated to the House of Lords.

Ah well, like I said, it was a real bargain and in my opinion a handsome looking watch. Just another addition to my growing collection. cool

Well, it's got a Japanese quartz movement in it so as long as you got it cheaply... I wouldn't pay over £50 for it.

hehe Well, you know what I mean. If you'd paid £400 for it, I'd have tried to sell you a timeshare.

£51 isn't bad at all really. At least you didn't pay full whack for it -

You'd be mad to pay that^^ for it.
