Watch bracelet help?
Discussion
I have one of these as my daily beater:

But I have a gripe with the bracelet - because of the larger links, even though I prefer the look of them, I can't get a comfortable fit. There's no adjustability in the clasp, so it's currently sitting too loose rather than too tight on my wrist. Looking at it objectively, it seems strange that less than 1cm could make such a difference over what is probably 15cm, but it really does.
The lugs are way too narrow for any kind of NATO strap (story of my life
my G Shocks won't take a NATO either for the same reason).
Any suggestions?

Get used to the looseness which is quite nice in this sweaty weather. I've stopped using all bracelet watches as I can't stand the feeling of wet metal against my wrist.
However, if you remove the bracelet, you could buy a leather strap and carefully cut it down to fit between the lugs if there's a spring bar that goes across the entire gap. Or similar for a nylon strap and perhaps apply a soldering iron to the frayed edges.
As for your G-shocks, well, you can buy adapters. In the case of the one on my Riseman, I took one meant for another G and hacked it with a scalpel.

I would not attempt to use the G-shock adapters on the Edifice because I think it'd look crap.

Thats actually just maths - the circumference of a circle is Pi times the diameter.Say your watch strap is Y cm long, then the diameter is Y/Pi cm. Now make it a centimetre longer, the diameter will be (Y+1)/Pi...
How much has the diameter increased? It will be (Y+1)/Pi - Y/Pi = Y/Pi +1/Pi-Y/Pi.
The first and last terms cancel and it has increased by 1/Pi.
When you make the circumference (length) of the strap longer, the diameter (or tightness) will always increase by the same amount, regardless of how long the strap was originally!
If you had a wrist as thick as the earth, and made the strap 1 cm longer - you would still get the same, big, change in relative tightness.
Apologies if i have either dumbed this down too much, or just splurged a load of random babble across the page...
