Letting an automatic stop
Discussion
Hello chaps,
I have a question on automatic watches; specifically letting them completely deplete any 'charge' and stop running.
I have a Rolex Datejust and have worn it daily for the last 15 years. Recently I was given another watch by a friend that I've been wearing more often than the Rolex.
So, does letting an automatic run out, or stopping and starting it every few days/weeks cause any problems?
I've never had the Rolex serviced as it still keeps good time, looks clean and tidy.
