Evening all, my mum has very kindly suggested that she'd buy me a watch for a graduation present. Budget is about £300-£350 so I'd like to know what suggestions people have. I was looking at the Tissot PRC200 earlier, to give you an idea of the style that I like. Money no object I'd love a Tag Monaco, so anything similar to that style would be great, too.

Thanks in advance

Assuming it's going to be a keeper, a Tissot Visodate will look good forever, and you'll always need a dress watch, especially for interviews.

The chronograph you were looking at can be picked up for buttons used, let someone else take the hit and buy it with your first wage packet.

Thanks for the suggestion, really liking the look of the Visodate. And to answer your assumption, yes it's meant to be a keeper/sentimental gift

I might be tempted to go for the gold plate with white face. I realise that it isnt solid or gold filled, but itll keep its appearance for ever if cared for and I think that they look a lot smarter (than the SS model).
