As subject line really, there are a few Sinn models I fancy - is there any scope for negotiation on price or is it a case of paying what they ask? With only two UK dealers I can't see much scope for playing them off against one another.

Didn't get anything off my first one from Chronomaster, but got a little bit off the second time.

No harm in asking, though.

I'm told Jura often give 10% off but why buy new?

Think there may be some scope - looking recently Jura (I think) was offering additional goodies thrown in, which I had planned on trying to convert back to cash discount (obviously at a lower rate).

Am quite happy to buy used - in fact I'd prefer to, just hadn't seen the ones I fancied (6100, 6110) advertised s/h.

Damn, not you too. I am looking for a 6000, but nothing is out there 2nd hand. Phoned Jura Wednesday last week and they had just sold their last one on Tuesday

for some reason Sinn just do not float my boat - However a very big exception is the 6100 which I think is stunning, it really is the only Sinn I like, but I already have a regulator so it falls foul of the 'something unique' rule in my collection
