Speedmaster repair?
Discussion
I have a 2005 Speedie Pro as a daily. It was last serviced by STS in late 2009 as part of a full refurb.
This morning I started to wind it as usual but found when I pulled the crown out to set the time that the mechanism continues to wind instead, it is also not returning to position against the case properly. I presume the clutch arrangement or whatever has broken.
Any suggestions on who might be able to fix it in the London area? I'm hoping that it can be repaired cheaper than the 300 odd I expect STS might charge again.

You could try www.rytetimewatchrepairs.co.uk but it's unlikely STS will charge that much unless you decide to go for another full service.
