Hi, as above I am looking at getting a cheap beater & have seen a J Springs orange faced diver watch (200 mts) that I quite like. The seller can't tell me the case size, & the only other info I have is the J Springs part number of BBH104. Does anyone know this watch & can tell me the size please, just worried it will be a little too small, as I have 8.2" wrists.

Cheers.

A little trawl of the tinter web suggests 39mm without crown, 43mm with and 12mm thick, hope that helps.

Thank you laser Sag, very helpful. As a matter of interest, how did you find that, I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Here you go

http://precisiontimeco.com/j-springs-bbh104-prestage-sports-200-m-mens-watch.html

I got mine from here

http://www.watches2u.com/watches/j-springs/bbh104-mens-prestige-sports-orange-black-watch.html?gclid=CNXAoY3t1KoCFQoe4QodJzHw0g

Personally I didnt like the feel of the rubber strap, it felt a bit cheap/unfinished and was also a bit too big on my puny wrist so I put it on a nato and it now gets quite a lot of wrist time.

As previously posted, check out the £50 watch thread, I am sure there are some wrist shots on there, to speed up your trawl, I think I bought mine around Feb/March on the back of the recommendations.

Thanks Jonboy. I can tell the strap doesn't look good, I too plan to get an orange nato for it, do you happen to know what size I need?

Hi Brook
My search came up with a couple of on line stores which had details on them and then found the J Springs site, all the dimensions were within 0.5mm of each other so was fairly confident they would be right. Look to be quite good for the money, may have to investigate their auto offerings at some point.

Thanks for the picture, I will definately have a punt based on that, cheers.

Don't suppose you could measure the strap width for me please?

I make it 20 mm, the strap it comes with isn't great (might also change it for a NATO)
I was more than happy with watches2u, think I paid about £27 There were some people who bought the watch at the same time from the same place & found it didn't work, I think they were offered a swap or refund?
ETA (As seen on p25 of the £50 watch thread.)

Yes, the strap width is 20mm. Got mine from Timefactors, quick delivery and they are regarded as one of the better quality Nato's.

Wearing mine now as it happens!smile
