Got a Breitling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Discussion
After my mamoth watch buying session a few weeks ago (Tag Heuer, Tissot, 2x Citizens and 2 more Citizens for the dearly beloved and yet another for the youngest daughter) I promised the wife I'd behave and keep my credit card in my wallet.
Anyway, bought a Christopher Ward C3 and a date of birth 9kt Tudor "Prince" since then but I still really wanted a Breitling.....
So I bought an Orient SK nos watch from the 70s/80s and a Sabbatini(sp?) from a guy on the CW forum....
Anyway, I've been sleeping on the sofa a lot just lately, as you can imagine (surprisingly frosty in Devon for August!) and finally, the wife and I reached a compromise. I could have a Breitling if, and only if I PROMISED to not buy any more watches....
Watchfinders just happened to have the very thing I wanted, and I'd been keeping an eager eye on it for some time, so when it was reduced by £200 it was bought quick sharp!
Arrived this morning and it is absolutely beautiful but... Less imposing and impressive than a few of the fakes I've seen! It looks more like a fake than the fakes do! I know it's real (and I've got the box [most impressive wooden thing]and the papers to prove it)but how do I get over this feeling that it's just another one of the millions of fakes? I bought a Colt expressly because I don't think the fakers bother with them so much (they prefer the big blingy models) and it would feel more "real" than one of the heavily copied ones.
I love eveything about it, just cannot get away from this feeling of every Breitlings a fake.

You could also send to Breitling UK who will authenticate the watch for you.
