Evening all,

As you can see I don't post much anywhere on PH. Reading is more my thing. Thanks to this section of PH though, I took the plunge and bought myself something new - I have a G-shock Gaussman, Seiko SPR043K and Oris williams F1 already, but wanted something with a little more clout.

Pics were taken by me with Sony Alpha330 18-55mm kit lens in RAW format with minor colour adjustments in Adobe Elements 8, Enjoy! I'll be eating tomato sauce sandwiches until payday.

Thanks for looking. If anyone finds this post because they are researching this piece and unsure how it sits on the wrist, my wrists are 7".

Cheers folks.

Thank you Sir.

I spent 4 months looking at everything imaginable. From tatty <£3k no date Subs, to Super Avengers, Planet Oceans and watches of similar ilk.

Seen this one though, and loved it on sight.

The Submariners are beautiful though, now thats a watch for any occasion.

Oh now the chrono has that extra something doesn't it? Breitling nailed it with that one too I think. Good catch.

I also have the black Super Ocean heritage on the mesh bracelet, after being in Singapore this weekend for the F1 i just purchased myself a new Breitling rubber divers strap for it so that the mesh doesn't get too marked or scratched. Whilst in the shop the shop they tried desperately to sell me the the latest Super Ocean, the brushed stainless one. He started the offer at Sing$5700 and eventually came down to Sing$3900 (roughly 1930gbp) which i though was a pretty good deal, however i already have two Breitlings and could not justify another.....

Looking forward to getting my new rubber on my watch.

Phil.

I think I prefer the simplicity and style of the non-chrono version.

Thanks for the comments.

I got it with the Ocean Racer rubber strap also, but I can't see myself changing from the mesh just yet

Sorry, I just noticed that, what a dumbass. I had a long day of measuring things at work - number crunching and working out QTYs all day for a small job. My head was mangled. Post edited to suit.

Thanks man, just dont come to me if you want pipes of any kind spin

I didn't like the mesh when it first came out but I managed to try on a friends new Chronospace on the mesh and it completely changed my mind, they are beautifully built bracelets.

Your SOH looks brilliant.
