Porsche Design watch - insides?
Discussion
As per the title, I have a Porsche Design P 6300 series watch which has stopped working. We have no official retail of Porsche Design watches here in Copenhagen, so I either need to take it to the store in Berlin where it was purchased or with me to London next weekend for a repair from a store.
However, I doubt the actual clockwork is something Porsche Design has engineered and produced themselves and therefore I hop that maybe someone in here knows which clockwork they buy and surround with their own casings?
Its a selfwinding wristwatch with a 48 hour battery reserve from the Flat Six product line.
Any help appreciated.

Eterna has been manufacturing PD watches since 1998. It was then bought by Porsche (one of the subsidiary companies I think) and has recently been sold to International Volant Limited, a subsidiary of China Haidian.
The movement is an ETA 2894-2 so should be easily worked on by any competent watch repairer.
Incidentally, in 1932 Eterna created a subsidiary (ETA) to make movements for itself and other watch companies. ETA is now part of the Swatch Group.
My google fu is strong today

Thanks so much for your help. My Google fu was not strong enough yesterday apparently.
Today however it shows that these watches are not repaired when problems occur, rather the movements are switched - so I'll take it to London this weekend and head for one of the retail shops, as the watch is out of warranty, but I am the original owner with warranty card and box with all papers. Maybe they will do me a little discount, since the watch is only just over 2 years old.

I wouldn't bother with returning to a PD AD. As we've established it's a regular ETA movement, and decent watchmaker will be able to service for you. If it helps, I can point you in the direction of a friend (watchmaker) in Copenhagen who could help...
