Reading this forum and general window shopping recently has made me decide to start saving up for a special watch (currently falling for the Raymond Weil Freelancer Auto Chronograph), while I save the pennies though I want to get myself a little treat to tide me over and stop me from making the big purchase too soon.

I really don't know much about watches at all. I have a Raymond Weil Tango (pure coincidence about the RW thing, I have no particular loyalty to the brand)which I got for 21st birthday but personally find that it looks better in smarter dress so really want something that I can wear as an everyday watch. Both in the office and at the pub.

I've been looking around and I really like the simplicity of the Movado Museum. It seems to have a nice bit of history, looks like it would go with anything and is in the right price range to feel like I am treating myself without crippling my efforts for something bigger next year.

I was just wondering if any of the experts here have any knowledge or experience of the watch? Obviously I am interested in how well it keeps the time but I was also wondering if it has a particular reputation or expectation for when it would be ok to wear?

Sorry for the essay. Like I say, I really don't know much about watches so hopefully I can make the most of the collective PH wisdom.
