Does anyone know the RRP for this and where I can get one from? Jura or Chronomaster aren't listing them at the moment - http://www.sinn.de/en/Modell/358_DIAPAL.htm

I really want one!

Cheers

Just had a reply from Neil @ Chronomaster - he can get on in around two weeks. Yay!

The only trouble is deciding which Sinn I actually want - I'd settle for any of the chronographs, especially the 358 Pilot and 958 Fulda.

Hmm, decisions decisions!

I think the 358 Diapal is my personal fav of the 3358 range.

This pic sold it for me:

Black croc strap, clack sub dials and date window with the grey face just looks perfect to me with the white hands.

Not a 358 but I thought I'd stick a pic up of a copper dialled 356, IMO a real looker even if it doesn't have the tech of the 358 models.

Muska - Yep, that's a great picture of the watch. It makes me want one even more. Trouble is, with the sapphire crystal back it's the best part of £2,600. I'm willing to spend that (possibly even more) but I'm not sure if a Sinn is worth it, so to speak.

Cardshark - another option to add to the ever growing list.

I really need to get my hands on a couple of models - I've never seen on in the flesh.

The Sinn would be a replacement for my TAG Carrera Chronograph Tachy. How do Sinn's compare quality wise?

I've seen a couple of tasty IWC's today. God, this is hard work!

Sinns are very well made. I'd have one over a TAG Carrera any day.

Sinn engineer their watches where as TAG, IMO, style their watches first. That's not to say that TAG don't make well put together pieces, they do, but I'd pick a Sinn over a TAG in a watch conkers contest smash

If I was going for a Sinn Chrono, it would have to be the 757S.

I think a few on here have that model, I'm sure they'll be along with pictures shortly to provide you with inspiration and make me insanely jealous biggrin

I think they're a fair bit less than £2,600, and definitely worth every penny. Sinn are a decent watchmaker!

Thanks for the replies!

Nice to hear opinions that Sinns are well made. I've read the same elsewhere today so that's put my mind at rest. I'm a bit of an engineering geek so I want something sturdy and built to last. I've also been told that 90% of the chronographs can be ordered with the sapphire crystal case back - very important for me, I love being able to see the movement.

I've taken quite a liking to these little numbers today - http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/sinn-duo-chronograph-... & http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/sinn-instrument-356-s...

I've also been looking at the 956 Fulda here with the black face and black leather strap - http://www.chronomaster.co.uk/sinn_current_stock_3...

I must admit, I still keep looking at that picture of the Diapal above - love the spec list as well.

Can anyone suggest any other brands I should be looking at around the same cost of the above?

Then I look at this at £2,750 - http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/IW3717_S13262.h... - bit of a stunner!

Think a trip over to Blowers in Hull may be in order!
