Their registered address is just a registered address shared by lots of other companies.
The phone number is non geographic.
The company is an LLP.
Showing the least info possible about themselves.

Probably OK. Just looks like an internet based marketing operation with small overheads and small assets.

I have recently been over the same ground so I'll give you the benefit of my views for what they are worth.

WT offer dramatic discounts on what appear to be genuine watches. The company is easy to trace, and easy to talk to. The stock comes from worldwide sources frequently the USA. The watches do not appear to carry a manufacturers warranty but instead WT themselves warrant them and if you have to take them back you take them back to WT. My impression is, and I could be wrong, that VAT is not chargeable in the source countries and the watches are sent by Federal Express direct to the purchaser. I do not know if that is evading VAT, but it kind of sounds like it. That alone would account for the difference between WT and other retailers. If the watches are detained in customs I have the impression that WT will send another one.

I am not sure, given that the watches are genuine, why the manufacturers international warranty does not cover it. If I have understood the position correctly, this would be the decisive factor for me.

Thanks for your advice, I think I shall stick to retail buying as it sounds to risky for me.

Ordered a Raymond Weil for sons 21st from watch tag web site said it was in stock , chased order 7 days later to find watch was not in stock and being dispatched from the USA!!
They assured me it had been dispatched on 48 hour FedEx service after receiving no tracking details over the next week I made the decision to cancel order and get a refund .the refund was requested on the 7 th febuary , as yet I'm am yet to receive this refund , I was advised this could take up to 30 days .My advice would be stay well clear ,who ever you order from make a phone call to see if they have it in there hand prior to ordering , I have bought another Raymond Weil watch so I didn't disappoint my son on his 21st from alexanders , super service watch arrived next day
