As much as I love the orange omega planet ocean, as it's more of a fun watch (ie the orange) are there any cheaper alternatives that are similar?

At 600 quid it's a damn sight cheaper than the PO

If you want a cheaper Planet Ocean, get a Seamaster! wink

If you want a cheaper orange bezel, how about a Glycine Combat?

Liking that Orient!

It's a great manufacturer and a design that's unique enough to not be thought a PO copy.

Thanks for the input guys, looking at these I think I may just save up a bit more and go for the Planet Ocean.

They are nice, but if I got one I think I would always wish that I had just waited and got the one that I really wanted!

I'd prefer to have a more unique watch than what looks like a cheap homage.
The Orient is a better choice than Alpha or 'AK' et al.

How cheap are you looking for?

I recently saw something that really grabbed my attenion at the local jewellers, it's not subtle though:

Tissot Sea Touch £650 ish

Avia seem to be making a few decent models, one of which looks like a PO:

not bad for 50 notes. having said that, there are a few pieces on their site that look good for the price...
