Watch Porn in Dubai

Just had a 3 night stopover in Dubai wife wanted to hit the shops. We had been to the Emerates Mall before but this new Dubai Mall is just fantastic for watches. In the one area there are all seperate shops Rolex ,Omega , Tag , IWC Zenith Breitling there are also a seperate shop for all the high end stuff. It was watch heaven never bought one for myself but did pick up a nice Tudor for the wife in the Rolex shop also with a nice fat discount. I did notice that no one seemed to be buying in any .

Some serious watches available here, (also some very expensive monstrosities you'd never see me dead wearing). Best I've managed to blag a good look at was a Breguet with a 500 year perpetual calendar worth a cool 1.2 million Dirham, ( a shade over £200K). Unlike some I'd seen here, it was actually really nice and perfectly wearable..

One thing I did notice was the amount of diamonds on the Rolexes and other top marques, on speaking to Rolex shop manager he said it was how the middle eastern guys like their watches, I think watches with bling like that are for the ladies and no one else.
