Pebble Steel - Anyone else preordered?

I quite liked the concept of the original pebble watch, so was one of the first to put some cash down on one for the kickstarted edition. Great concept, but it wasn't something that I could wear with a suit - its clunky plastic feel was too nerdy to be taken seriously, although the software showed a lot of promise.

Now that the steel has been released, it looks a lot more passable - thinner and smarter. They're about £150 after currency exchange. My current pebble is already on ebay, so hoping to make back a lot of the cost to pay for this one.

Smartwatches are still a fairly emerging product, but I do think this is still the best, compared to the monstrosity that is the Samsung Gear.

Just a side-thought - maybe the original, first series Pebble will be sought after in years to come - maybe worth hanging on to? They seem to have made a decent stab at the latest version.

i bought a kickstart pebble and it is a good piece of kit but I think I agree with you about the sandals.......ps I don't have any

Pebble Round is coming, it's thinner so has a 2 day battery, still bezeltastic though
