Hey All,

Looking at maybe picking one of these up this weekend..... thoughts?

Having not really come across the Muhle brand I did quite a bit of research and I think I am happy with my choice, trying it on will be the real defining moment.

Be great to hear what everyone thinks or even some alternatives?

Mühle Glashütte - Marinus

I have to say I love the simple toolish diver watches and this one ticks all of my boxes, I was in the market for an Oris Prodiver once, but after trying it on it was like wearing a plate... its MASSIVE!

I prefer some of the other ones you've been looking at.

True yes.

My taste changes daily, having come into some spare money recently it's burning a hole in my pocket.....

I guess I need to just try on some of the watches I have in mind and see what I like.... which could turn messy!!!

It's not easy as there are SO many watches I like, with relatively limited funds (compared to some on here).

Ideally I would love a Rolex Sub of some description, but unfortunately my funds would neither stretch that far and to be honest, locking £4K+ into a watch scares me....

My indecisiveness annoys me so much as I just cannot seem to decide on one watch!

It's all circumstances. What I could afford 3/4 years ago would be better put towards toddler and house stuff today. Although I am considering one more final purchase and then I'm out the game lol.

But don't rush. If it's not throw away money to you then try on as many watches as you like. Go home sleep on it come back rinse and repeat. You'll soon find one that grabs you. There have been loads of watches I've loved over the years but after trying them on I've thought no you're not the one for me.

£4k isn't disposable to me, but up to ~£2k I can argue with SWMBO, besides, she doesn't see my monthly bonus wink

Decent watches - had a look at these in the metal at Salon QP last year. And from the heart of the German watch-making region, too.

On the one hand you'll be hard pressed to spot another Muhle on someone else's wrist, so you'll have something relatively exclusive, which is always nice. On the other, is one watch enough? Will you always be yearning for something else?

Great brand. Glashütte cachet. Exclusive. I like it.

For your budget, however, my pick would be a Mühle Glashütte Seebataillon GMT.

I already have a nice collection growing, albeit nowhere near as prestigious as some on here...... When I say i want to find one watch what I mean is the right next watch

Well..... After much deliberation and trying on so many watches ranging from £500 to £4000 I was offered this watch at a price point that I just could not say no.... So....I came home to this beaut sat waiting for me this afternoon.... The bracelet is a work of art and is ridiculously comfortable

I have to say it's love at first sight! The watch is quite slim and certainly has a "presence".... I won't be taking it off for a while.... If I do it will only be to stare at the movement ticking away, you have to live a display case back!
