Anonimo Rubber Strap
Discussion
Can anyone help.
I have a Anonimo Professionale Chrono, cannot find an official rubber strap anywhere.
Bought a couple of cheap straps of Ebay because I'm away going diving next month.
The straps that I have bought of Ebay do not fit, correct width size, it's getting the pins back in through the strap and the holes for the pin thats the problem.
Any suggestions?

No, not needed.
Anonimo use a screw pin system, you use 2 small screwdrivers, spin in opposite directions, screw head comes away and then put the new strap on.
Problem is with the straps I have tried is there is too much strap after the the pin for the pin to go back through the strap and into the final hole, (Hope this makes sense, suffering tiredness from Le Mans.

There's a reason you are struggling to find replacement parts. See here: http://www.ablogtowatch.com/anonimo-watches-rebirt...
Anonimo (actually Anonimo Switzerland SA) is not linked in any way to Anonimo Firenze's management, meaning that it is a completely new company. While the brand's bronze cases (as we will see further on in this article) are manufactured in Florence, Italy, the watches are assembled in Switzerland. In short, Anonimo changed owners and it is a new company that carries on some of the key elements of the "old Anonimo", while totally restructuring its collections, and its networks of suppliers and distributors. Consequently, given that they are starting from scratch, they will not be able to create parts for warranty repairs of discontinued models by Anonimo Firenze, and have an extremely limited stock of only some select parts for the older models.
Which model do you have and what size (width) strap do you need? We may be able to point you at a supplier. Another alternative might be to order a custom strap that will take the fatter screw bars. Something like a Toshi would work well, though that would be leather and not ideal for diving!

Fatter screw bars are not a problem. the pins can go through one hole, through the strap, its getting the pin into the final hole.
The problem is the amount of strap after the pin against the watch.
Steve
Do you mean that you have a strap that is too wide for the lugs? The problem is the amount of strap after the pin against the watch.

Have you tried here: http://www.timefactors.com/rubberstraps.htm
Both the Time Factors Retro Strap in Polyurethane and the Silicone Rubber Black, Blue & Orange may prove a better fit. I'd email them and ask whether they know. The guy that runs it is a watch collector.
