Help with Oris rubber strap - leaking and clasp

I've got an Oris TT3 with black rubber strap and about a year ago the metal clasp stopped clasping, so put it in the cupboard to sort out another day. A year on I want it fixed, so find it in a box and now see that the rubber strap is leaking something and it's all a bit sticky!

Can I save the strap and get the clasp repaired? any recommendations for a good Oris dealer, ideally in Hants/Surry/Berks area.

the clasp is probably just something simple that needs 'bending' back into place.

Never heard of rubber straps 'leaking'. You sure something hasn't been spilt on it - either solvent type stuff that might melt it or just something sticky?

You can probably re-use the clasp - but pics would confirm

I've had a similar problem with some rubber bits on the arms of some sun glasses. After a few years in a draw I took the glasses out and the rubber had gone all sticky. I'm going to try cleaning them with isopropanol to see if that sorts them out. I will let you know what happens.
