Chaps: can anyone recommend someone to fix a Breitling Astromat Chronograpph? Do I need to take Breitling watches to a Breitling dealer, or is there someone else PH knows and trusts...?

My Navitimer packed up when it was 3 years old.
I sent it back to the below address and they fixed it for free.
It's been fine for the last 4 years, but probably due a service soon.

The prices are on the website so if your watch is a few years old you are probably looking at
£500 for the overhaul at the official service centre.

I took my B1 UTC to the Breitling Boutique in New Bond Street a few weeks back... they can send it direct to BUK for servicing and you don't pay a 'handling charge' that my local AD wanted to charge me.

Current turnaround time for an overhaul is 6-8 weeks...

Previously I sent my Emergency Mission direct to BUK in Tunbridge Wells... I wouldn't trust an indy with a full overhaul TBH, no matter how good they are. You can't guarantee what genuine parts they will be able to get (or not).

I've used Dom H for all my stuff (which includes Breitlings)

Another vote for BUK. They did a fantastic job servicing my Emergency last year and even turned it around in 5 days for me (none of this 6-8 weeks wait!). Will happily send it back off to them next year when it's due smile

Have also used BUK in the past.
Ranged from a few days to a number of weeks.
On the longer turnaround, they sent me a courtesy watch, to wear.
Don't think they do that any more.
Good results, but pricey.
