Evening all, trying to do some research on my grandfathers pocket watch I've just come across. On the face it says Marks Levi 116 pershore road Birmingham. I can't find anything on the internet, can anyone shed any light on it please?
Many thanks Craig

I was thinking marks Levi was the watchmaker, but I see your point, could have been the owner and would explain why I can't find anything. I'd assumed it was my grandads but my Nanna was always buying stuff at sales and fairs so that's plausible, my grandad wasn't the robbing kind.
Cheers

Look at the commission and VAT at Bonhams. You think you have bagged a bargain, then get shafted for 45%

30%. VAT is on the premium, not the purchase.

So marks levi is a maker. Here's a couple of pics. It's stamped 375 so only 9ct gold. Can anyone advise a shop in Leeds that would know their stuff?
Cheers
