Hi all,

I was kindly given this Tissot as a gift last year but I really haven't bonded with it. I usually go for chunky auto divers (Omega, Seikos, etc). This Tissot is only a Quartz, but it has a nice Sapphire crystal and feels well made.

I have recently started getting into retro style watches and I want to give this watch a go. I just can't live with the blingy bracelet though.

Can you recommend a strap style that might make it more appealing?

Can't beat a nice lizard or crocodile strap.

Agree the bracelet shown above is bit much and rather dates.

A nice dark brown or black croc strap would give you a very pleasant dress watch.

Do you think it would look nice on leather? I'm not sure of the gold hour markers and hands.

I'm note sure whether to leave this Tissot in the box and go buy one of these cheapy retro watches which I like the look of. The Tissot would be a better quality piece though.

I just dug this watch out of storage and it's slightly different to how I remembered it.

I'm really struggling to like this watch. I thought the glass was slightly domed, but it is completely flat and doesn't add anything to the looks.

I had a look on watchhut and couldn't find a Tissot that matches it. Does anyone know what model this is?

Is the model number not on the case back?

Oops - hadn't taken it off it's pad since I got it!

I tried it on again and it is just too small for me and I don't think I can like the case design regardless of that strap is on it.

I'll just get one of those retro Accurists which I think are closer to 40mm and stick this dainty Tissot back in the watch box.

Certainly. I have a stainless Omega Seamaster 600 with gold crown and applied hour markers which looks brilliant on a brown/gold strap.
