So having had a recent cull to make way for something I'd been after for a while - I almost sold my Tag Heuer Spirotechnique. It's one I'd had a chase for over several months and finally managed to persuade someone to not put it on eBay and they sold it to me.

I kept it for a while on the original "grains of rice" bracelet it was delivered to me on, but found that my hairy arms and wrists kept getting pulled by the bracelet, so swapped it to a Bond style NATO.

I almost sold it a few weeks ago as part of my cull, but then remembered how hard I'd searched for it, and having seen a Seiko here recently on a "tropic" strap - I thought it might suit my Spiro - and now I'm so glad I kept it !

I'm going to put my explorer 2 on a similar strap as I think it looks cooler than the metal. Like a 70s steering wheel!

Will you go for a black strap or something more contrasting ?

I've bought one of these straps and will put it on in the next week or so, when time permits. I'll have to figure out how to do it first, so I'll look on youtube. I've bought the springbar removal tool and the strap came with springbars. Apparently, it's a waterproof strap, but I won't test that!

Edited to say that it actually looks nothing like your cool strap. Mine has different perforations!

I like the stainless and still have it should I choose to re-sell at a later date - but my arm hairs are now fully intact smile

All is well in that case, chap.
