Mrs has taken a fancy to one in particular. Are they any good or are there better similar options?

I'm only guessing, but I don't think you'll find much love for them here. They're a fashion brand rather than a watchmaker and hence you're probably paying above true value for a name.

But if that's what she wants, save yourself any hassle and just get it for her!

From what I could gather: made by fossil with a citizen movement.

My missus took a fancy to one before xmas and then found a Fossil which was almost identical. She went for the Fossil in the end and saved a stack of cash in the process.

They are quite overrated IMO and not worth what they charge for them.

If your missus wants it then take the hit.

Just bought this for the wife from a shop in Tenerife.

Creation watches have a sale on Michael kors. This watch was £60 cheaper with them.

Fossil are the OEM supplier for lots of higher price / lower quality fashion watches.

Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs, both are Fossil made.

I spent a week solid trying to convince the missus that she'd prefer to have a Tissot but to no avail.

This.

As has been said, MK are made by Fossil, and Fossil are the second largest watch brand/company/manufacturer out there after the Swatch Group. They won't necessarily be bad watches however they probably won't be the best value for money.

Thanks for the heads-up. Obviously Mr Kors is in vogue at the mo as my missus was making noises about getting one. Just saved about £120 with Creation smile

My partner has a similar liking for a Vivienne Westwood watch. It's quite pricey for a fashion watch but that's what she likes which is fair enough.

I surprised the missus with this as a first anniversary gift, after some sleuthing online:

Nothing particularly special to me, but feels solidly made and is well finished for the money IMO

She was over the moon, and that's the important thing smile

My OH has one. They look pretty and, given she's worn it almost every day for 11 months, it hasn't faired badly considering it was only £250.

I bought one for my wife about a year ago, she had admired it for some time and it just happened to be in a hlaf price sale so in we went.

I am not a fan even slightly, but then I don't have to wear it.

The problem is that once I bought my Rolex she decided she wants one = not quite so easy to drop £4k+ as it is £150 :-)
