Chrono24 Rolex
Discussion
Afternoon - a friend is after a Datejust II and has found a seller on Chrono24 offering a decent discount to list.

How would he judge if the seller is legit? If he is, how are they able to offer such a discount?

1st link – they're legit, but make sure your friend establishes good comms, unlike the way this one has turned out.

I've dealt with the bloke who runs this outfit (Riccardo) a couple of times.
If you buy through the website, you can pay by credit card for an additional 2%. That being the case, if you were to have a problem, you can set the credit card legal team on the case, and you'll get your money back.
I only had one slight problem with the last purchase, which was I bought a watch on the website that had literally just been sold to someone else. That was at the end of July, and all of Italy (including this chap Riccardo) disappear in August. For the entire month. He supposedly organised a refund, but the banks don't seem to work properly in August either. Anyway, when he did get back to work, he fell over himself sorting out a replacement, and the watch was shipped in the first week of September. Given that I saved a couple of grand on the UK RRP, (even after the 2% surcharge and shipping of €120) I wasn't too fussed about the delay.
I'd use him again.
