Valuation help please
Discussion
As seems to happen every 18 months or so I'm thinking about selling off a few watches (roughly half what I laughingly call my collection), and for one of them I am really struggling with a suitable valuation.
It is a vintage Zenith Defy Surf. probably from about 1970, this one:

It is now on a Brady sail cloth strap with Zenith buckle that suits it far better.
I actually got it dirt cheap in pretty poor condition on eBay, however, I spent a relative fortune getting it serviced and lightly restored (cleaned, new crystal, etc.) by Zenith.
They seem very rare, but there is one on chrono24 (which doesn't look as nice as mine) and there was one on eBay - asking in the $650-1000 range.
Any thoughts?

I had a similar square version that was purchased and sold for about £250 IIRC. It wasn't in quite as nice nick as yours though.
There doesn't seem to be that much love for vintage Zeniths outside of the better known pieces. Wish I'd never sold mine though
