Wondering if you guys could help.

I am looking to buy a watch with a limit of around 3-3.5k

I was looking for something that will hold is value pretty well and sort of a iconic peice.

Have tended to look at the Rolexs cause they seem to hold there value fairly well.

I have been looking at the Omega Seamasters and the Rolex equivalent.

Any help or options wouild be great smile

3.5k will get you a nice second hand Rolex Sub Mariner. Or you could just about get Omega new for that.

A nice sub fits the bill perfectly.

How much is a new sub?
I get around 15% discount through goldsmiths but where are the best places to buy?

It will be my first ever proper watch and sort of a remembers nice for a family member

you'll need to buy the sub used at that budget but as others have said, it absolutely fits your brief - in terms of holding value, being iconic, etc

It's the most popular search term on chrono24 which tells you all you need to know about it's ability to hold value and in fact, appreciate in value

Last Saturday Goldsmiths in the Bull Ring had a SS Sub for £5250 if my memory serves me well. I did comment to the wife it was cheap. RRP is £5700
