Popped into local shop in Cambridge yesturday and got my hands on the new seadweller. A very nice watch, but to be honest its lost that 'original' look of a Rolex to me and next to my original Seadweller i preferred the face on mine.

They did offer interest free for 2 years, but i think ill keep mine for now!

I did ask that if i was to upgrade my bracelet could i use the 'new model' and the women in the shop said no as the fittings are different near the lugs. But could i buy the bracelet and get it fitted to the existing link ( within lug) of my bracelet as i would prefer the improved and stronger clasp/links etc as my clasp is weak and the links are worn.

Or is this something that Rolex would not allow and also, would it de value my watch as it would not be original?

Maybe get a replica bracelet? If you don't want a fake, get one without the Rolex logo on the clasp. Keep the original bracelet in the box.

I've done this with my Sub, as I couldn't get a comfortable fit on the original, and didn't fancy taking a hacksaw to it. Some of the replica bracelets are very good, and cost an awful lot less.
